“I stayed at Raven Clan Kennels for four days in March 2023, and it was the experience of a lifetime. I love dogs and snow and learning about indigenous ways, and I got to enjoy all of these things, all while eating delicious food (and plenty of it!) and having a very comfortable place to stay. Jody and Jamey let me help with feeding the dogs and exercising the puppies, and after riding in a sled, I got to mush my own small team several times in the breathtaking scenery around Eagle. Jody is a patient and warm teacher with a deep well of experience and love for her dogs and the land. At all times, I felt so safe and cared for and like a part of the clan, but I also got to push my own personal boundaries. It was hard to leave, and I will go back as often as I can! (I also saw the Northern lights from their backyard. Magical.)".
